  10. What is your system for daycare? Do you have a container that they just throw everything in and you take care of it or what? Thanks!!

    1. We send him with a couple of small wet bags. She sends home one with the dirty diaps and sometimes a second with drool soaked bibs. Some daycare facilities require a separate wet bag for each dirty diaper, which is why I made four smaller ones.

  11. I like the cloth wipes from that shop! I need to make more before my baby arrives (due in 2 weeks!), and I just don't know if I will have time!

  12. Oh, I also already follow your blog.
And I have a question: Is it a pain to have to have 2 diapering systems, since you use disposables at night? I feel like separate pails, keeping the cloth wipes out of the trash, and extra purchases seems like more work than finding an absorbent cloth night time solution...

    1. Hey Jenny, to answer your question, no it doesn't make it more complicated. M has slept through the night since 3w so that means one diaper a night. In the morning we bring the dirty disposable straight to the kitchen. Disposables stink, cloth do not. Weird, I know! Our main issue with the night isn't absorbency, it's the acidity of the poo on his skin overnight. Eventually they don't poo overnight, I've been told, but for now I like to put a cream barrier on his skin so the poo isn't touching him all night. I have some cloth safe creams, but none form quite the barrier as the zinc creams...which do not wash out (expensive lesson learned). Eventually we'll go to cloth, but right now we are working on our first purchased box of disposables. We've had it for nearly two months!

  13. Wow, so hard to pick which item I would want most! The cloth wipes are great. The necktie onesie is fabulous! And the slings are super cute. Our babe's not here yet (three more weeks till the due date!), but we're definitely in the cloth diaper camp, and all the gear's just waiting.
